Ocean View Buffet is the ship's main buffet restaurant with panoramic window seating and contemporary, furniture. This cafeteria-like restaurant has a centrally-located buffet station and doesn't have additional food stations. Plunge Grill is a small, open-air buffet restaurant located close to the swimming pool area (La Piscina) on Lido Deck. It serves hot dogs, burgers, and fries at lunch and transforms into an omelet station for breakfast. The venue serves a late breakfast (10-11 am) and lunch items all afternoon. MS Grand Celebration was operated under charter (leased) by the Bahamas-based company "Paradise Cruise Line Operator Ltd" (formerly "Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line"), that changed ownership on December 22, 2016.
Onboard restaurants are chic, and cabins have been refitted to include modern touches and color palettes, but Grand Celebration is still a nostalgic example of how cruise ships were built three decades ago. Ceilings are low; bars, lounges and the theater are excessively glitzy (think old Las Vegas); and the buffet looks like a cafeteria. (Don't worry -- the food is exceptional, considering the venue's small size.) There's something endearing about it all, though.
